CHALLENGE

Known initially as MassageByMir, Miranda wanted to refresh her business with a new brand that better reflected her current services, allowed for growth within her company with additional services and staff, and attracted her key demographic. It was important that during the refresh process that the new brand remained recognizable to her existing clients and social media audience.

SOLUTION

Together, we developed the new business name, Strive Holistic, using a design thinking approach. Elements from the original MassageByMir brand were utilized as the foundation for the new Strive Holistic brand.

The typography remained the same with the new rebrand, with a slight alteration to soften the corners and tighten the kerning. The stacking of “Strive Holistic” lends itself to the strength and foundation of knowledge Strive Holistic brings to the health and wellness industry. The icon was rotated and altered slightly to reflect an “S” that connects with the new brand name. Each line represents the different massage services Strive Holistic offers while also representing an abstract look at muscle tissue and fascia that benefits from massage therapy.

The colour palette was refined by removing the lime and adding two new blue tones and a yellow. Adding these colours allowed for a more cohesive look and feel while maintaining the ability to be bright and bold with the brand.

Updated brand guidelines and social media templates were provided to create a smooth transition from the old to the new brand on all platforms. For the last two years, Strive Holistic has continued to evolve and grow, which has led to ongoing projects such as updated photography, new marketing materials for in-person events, and a website refresh in collaboration with a local SEO expert to increase web traffic.
